An interactive and reflective training designed to inspire and equip nurses to lead with compassion, advocate for justice, and embrace their professional responsibility to create positive change.
Whether you're at the bedside, in the boardroom, or out in the community, this training will strengthen your ability to lead with love, act with purpose, and uphold the call of nursing as a force for healing and equity.
Outcome 1: Define the principles of love-centered leadership in nursing and explore how compassion, empathy, and relational connection influence effective leadership and team dynamics.
Outcome 2: Examine the nurse’s role as an advocate for patients, communities, and the profession and identify strategies to promote equity, justice, and dignity in healthcare.
Outcome 3: Reflect on the ethical and professional responsibilities of nurses as leaders in shaping healthcare outcomes, policies, and social change.
Outcome 4: Develop practical tools to lead with authenticity and courage, integrating emotional intelligence, cultural humility, and a sense of shared humanity into everyday nursing practice.

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Approval valid through 08/28/2027 – OCEAN ID #2025-37. Due to ANCC requirements, students must attend the entire session. Because of the highly interactive nature of the offering, we will allow a student to miss no more than ten minutes. A course completion certificate cannot be granted unless the RN student meets these attendance requirements.
